Christmas

Christmas was pretty exciting this year! Since both of our parents live in Oklahoma, Brian and I were able to spend a considerable amount of time with both of our families. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we were at Brian's parent's house. All of his siblings still live nearby, so the whole family was together. We really enjoyed the family traditions of lighting a fire, reading Luke 2 together, openings presents, playing games, and more. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures those two days.

On the 26th, Brian and I headed up to Bartlesville to spend the next week with my family. All of my siblings were there, except for my little brother, Adam, whose serving a mission in Guatemala. Instead of calling him on Christmas Day, we arranged to talk to him on the night of the 26th so everyone could be there. It was bitter sweet.

While we were in Bartlesville, Kendra and my parents did a great job of planning fun things for the family to do. One day, we all went to Tulsa's Air & Space Musem.

Another night, we had fun bowling together. My Dad did the best, but guess who came in 2nd?

Another fun activity my family did was make gingerbread houses. My mom was sweet enough to make all the gingerbread pieces and provide all the candy.
