I Love to See the Temple

Despite the stress of moving to a new city and new apartment, there has been one aspect that I have particularly enjoyed. We are now less than 10 minutes from the Oklahoma City LDS Temple. With a one-year-old and another on the way, words cannot describe how nice it is to drive to the temple and do an endowment session in such a short period of time. What makes it even better is the building where we attend church is right across the street. What a sweet blessing it is to see the temple on a weekly basis.

The Oklahoma City Oklahoma Temple

I Love to See the Temple

1. I love to see the temple.
I’m going there someday
To feel the Holy Spirit,
To listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God,
A place of love and beauty.
I’ll prepare myself while I am young;
This is my sacred duty.

2. I love to see the temple.
I’ll go inside someday.
I’ll cov’nant with my Father;
I’ll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place
Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I’ve learned this truth:
A fam’ly is forever.

You lucky girl! I just blogged about temples too and posted words to this song. What a coincidence!
